Obviously The Ruthless Forum's Podcast is the best one on the internet, but here is where you recommend other good ones. I'll start.

http://www.theskepticsguide.org/

DO NOT clog up this thread talking about our podcast or asking Sax where the next podcast is etc. In fact, I'll back starting a whole separate thread to bug him about that.

Old lovelines are the primary form of entertainment for a chunk of this forum.

Besides that, I don't know, I cant really listen to Adam Corolla's podcast and I sometimes download Simmon's podcast but that's pretty much it.

I listen to the Skeptics Guide, Carolla (in whatever form), and TWIT pretty regularly.

Cranky Geeks/Bill Simmons/Marc Maron/No Agenda/On Point with Tom Ashbrook when the subjects/guest fancy me. No Agenda is particularly terrible, but it's kind of fascinating sometimes to see what weird misinformed nonsense is on Adam Curry's mind. I like to think he is the pulse of the anti-government crazy. The kind of person who makes it difficult to be anti-establishment for legitimate reasons because you'd be sharing a bed with someone who thinks the flu vaccine was engineered in a government research lab in Mexico and that the government is waging war against alien visitors via blackholes caused by the Large Hadron Collider. I especially like how people donate thousands of dollars to their show every week and how Dvorak claims to be centrist or apolitical or whatever but takes everything from conservative talk radio at face value. I can only listen to it once a month. It's kind of draining.

Anyway, this hardcore history thing is pretty cool. Jimmys to Rube.

Shit, I forgot to add No Agenda to the crazy talk list. I do agree with Shane that that show can be draining and I can only listen to it intermittently. Hard to believe that Adam wants to do that show 3 times a week. Another show in a similar vein is NewsReal with Sean Kennedy. It's a news podcast in a more cyberpunk, Blade Runner, William Gibson-esque slant. He's Canada's version of survivalist grab-the-guns-and-ammo-hide-in-a-bunker waiting-for-the-nuclear-apocalypse nutjob.

Another suggestion for skeptical radio is The Conspiracy Skeptic , and LogicallyCritical done by a guy who's not doing the podcast anymore but the episodes are still good to listen to.

Skeptical Viewer is great skeptical podcast about paranormal TV. It focuses primarily on debunking the Ghost Hunters, but covers several other shows.

Monster Talk is a good skeptical show about cryptozoology.

How long can you listen to someone explaining why Bigfoot and ghosts probably aren't real though?

I like that BBC history one.

The standard format for these shows is to use a bullshit subject as a jumping off point to discuss legit science, logic, philosophy or history. So, it depends on your tolerance for those subjects.

Any worthwhile movie podcasts? SceneUnseen was good but unfortunately that's on indefinite hiatus.

I like The Film Vault, but that may be since I'm a huge fan of Engineer Anderson.
